Welcome to Kinesiology, Health and Sport Studies

The Division of Kinesiology, Health and Sport Studies (KHS) offers contemporary undergraduate and graduate academic curricula for students seeking careers in Health Education, Exercise Science, Physical Education, and Sports Administration. A Lifestyle Fitness Activities and a Driver Education program complement its organizational mission.

  •  In 2009 the Kathleen Reilly Koory Endowed Faculty Development Award was awarded to Dr. Mariane Fahlman. and she earned the prestigious WSU "President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching" in 2008. Read More

Winter Term 2010 - Instructor Approval Required to Withdraw
February 9 2010
From 02/08/2010-04/27/2010, Students must obtain instructor approval in order to withdraw from a class or classes. Initiate the process on WSU Pipeline => Student Tab => Student Services Menu => Registration => Withdraw from a Class. The instructor will then assign the appropriate withdrawal mark.
Spring/Summer Term 2010 - Priority Registration Period 02/08/2010-05/01/2010

Priority Registration for Spring/Summer Term 2010 begins Monday, February 8, 2010, and ends Saturday, May 1, 2010. The registration fee is non-refundable after this period.

The Evolution of Group Work With a special keynote address from Dr. Irvin Yalom via live TV conferencing Friday April 23, 2010 FROM 9am-4PM  Marriott Centerpoint in Pontiac, Michigan   Please join us for a one day workshop on the “Evolution of Group Work” that will include a key note address by Dr. Irvin Yalom and a live question answer period. Other presentations on group work will be made that highlight interactive process.
